Alpine Hills Swimming & Tennis Club, Portola Valley
Pre-construction services and general contracting for a multi-phased master renovation to Alpine Hills Swimming & Tennis Club in Portola Valley. Work included new construction of two wood-framed structures – a fitness building and new locker/shower building. Additionally the existing swimming pool was replaced with a new aquatic facility housing a competition pool, training pool, spa and kiddie pool. Parking lot improvements and a new handicap-accessible bridge was included, as well as complete new site utility infrastructure for the entire club, which was achieved through extensive use of directional boring. All work occurred in and around an operating club with over 600 family members.
