This expansion project removed and renovated portions of the existing Senior Center Facility and over 44,000 square feet of usable space including a new aquatics wing, making the Santa Clara Senior Center the largest in the Bay Area.

The existing reception area was remodeled and the entire single story wing of classrooms, billiards room and crafts areas were demolished and replaced by a new two-story structure that included these existing functions, plus a new fitness center, lockers and toilets. The new aquatics wing houses a natatorium with a lap pool, therapy pool and spa. It also includes a new lounge and entry.
