The Health Services Project for Sequoias Portola Valley, a Life Care Retirement Residential Community, consists of a new two-story health care structure and a complete remodel to the existing Lodge building. The new structure will house residents for Assisted Living Social Model and other supporting medical facilities, and will add 22,000 SF of usable space including 26 resident bedrooms, dining rooms, kitchens, parlors, Spa/Massage Room and staff support areas. A Physical Therapy Area and Clinic with 3 exam rooms are also part of the new facility.
Alterations to the existing Lodge building include remodeling of the central core area, replacement of the mechanical system, and addition of a garden, all part of a building conversion to provide housing for residents in the Assisted Living Memory Loss Unit.
