Through our pre-construction
management services Gonsalves & Stronck provides the client with
vital and timely information along with thorough analysis in regards
to materials, equipment, systems and schedules. This comprehensive
commitment early on allows our project team to make the best and most
informed decisions for each aspect of a project while keeping consistent
with the client’s budget and expectations.
Pre-Construction Services Include:
- Estimating & Value Engineering
Even with the most conceptual of drawings, G&S can provide creative
solutions for issues with budget, constructability and schedule
constraints while also exploring alternative methods and materials
that could potentially reduce a project’s overall cost.
- Design Development Schedule
G&S develops detailed, yet easily understood project schedules
that graphically display the major milestones of the project.
- Solicitation & Procurement of Subcontractors
Following the generation and distribution of bid packages, G&S
performs a thorough assessment of proposals from a pool of pre-qualified
subcontractors and presents recommendations to the design team and
client.

| Gonsalves & Stronck remains
committed to the project and the client throughout the duration

project's General Contractor/Construction Manager, Gonsalves &
Stronck is responsible for ensuring that the work constructed represents
what is called for by the plans and specifications and that it is
completed in a safe and timely manner with the utmost attention
to quality.
Construction Services Include:

With the client and design team, G&S establishes the acceptable
standard for each portion of work. Pre-job conferences with the
various trades, special inspectors, and product manufacturers are
held to ensure proper coordination and installation at the highest
level of quality and within code conformance.
- Schedule Control
G&S develops detailed, CPM master schedules that clearly depict
the project’s proper flow of work and sequencing. Individual
work activities and on-going progress are further monitored in the
preparation of our rolling, 4-week schedules, which are reviewed
and updated with the major subcontractors and project team during
weekly jobsite coordination meetings.
